NEW YORK, May 7, 2015 - Nick Swardson is serving up hot new jokes in the world premiere of "Nick Swardson: Taste It," debuting on Saturday, May 30 at 10 P.M. ET/PT on Comedy Central. For fans that can't wait for Swardson's new material, the special will be available on May 25 on CC: Stand-Up Direct.

Swardson returns to the Paramount Theater, where he filmed his last special, "Seriously Who Farted?," for this all-new one-hour special. Fans of Swardson won't be disappointed, as his material hasn't gone the route of being married, having children or any political epiphanies. He keeps it in the Swardson world with fresh takes on booze, chicks and diarrhea. With new stories, jokes and a new t-shirt, Swardson is back and it tastes good.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special. Fans can follow Swardson on Twitter at @NickSwardson, and tweet using the hashtag #TasteIt to join the social chatter around the special.

"Nick Swardson: Taste It" will be available on May 31 in the Comedy Central App to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider. The Comedy Central App is available for free for iOS on the App Store, on Chromecast, for Android on the Google Play store, and for Xbox One.

The extended and uncensored version of "Nick Swardson: Taste It" will be available for download on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Vudu and Google Play on June 2. The digital album also will be available on that date on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Spotify and all streaming services.

The road to success has been a steady climb for Swardson, who started his career in St. Paul and Minneapolis, then on to New York and Los Angeles, where he first found success by writing "Malibu's Most Wanted" for Warner Brothers and as a cast member on the hit Comedy Central series "RENO 911!" After catching the attention of Happy Madison Productions, he quickly became a fixture in the company, writing or co-writing and producing such projects as "Grandma's Boy" and "Benchwarmers," and co-producing "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. More recently Swardson has performed in movies such as "That's My Boy," "Blades of Glory," "30 Minutes or Less," and "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star," which he wrote, starred in, and produced. His first CD/DVD, "Party," on Comedy Central Records (produced by Happy Madison) went platinum. He followed that up in 2010 with his first one-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central, "Seriously Who Farted?"

In addition to his career in film and in the world of stand-up comedy, Swardson continues to have a prolific career in television. His Comedy Central sketch show, "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time" ran from 2010 to 2012, and this past year he voiced the role of "Troy" on FXX's animated show, "Chozen."

Swardson recently shot the feature film, "Pixels" from Columbia Films, starring Adam Sandler and Josh Gad. He's currently shooting his next feature "The Ridiculous Six," starring Adam Sandler and Will Forte, for Netflix.

"Nick Swardson: Taste It" is executive produced by Swardson, John Irwin and Tim Sarkes. Anne Harris is the Executive in Charge for Comedy Central.

Comedy Central, the #1 brand in comedy, is the home for the biggest names in stand-up including recent one-hour specials from Daniel Tosh, Kevin Hart, Gabriel Iglesias, Amy Schumer, Anthony Jeselnik, Aziz Ansari, Chris Hardwick, Hannibal Buress, John Mulaney, Pete Holmes, Bill Cosby, Jeff Ross, Nick Kroll, Patton Oswalt, Jim Gaffigan, David Spade, Tracy Morgan, and more.
