2015-16 BROADCAST PILOTS... - CBS has officially passed on its comedy pilot "The Half of It" while drama "Doubt" is "still very much alive with a desire to reshoot the pilot" (Deadline.com); The CW's "Tales from the Darkside" is considered dead despite efforts to find the anthology pilot a new home (Deadline.com); and CBS's "Super Clyde" and NBC's "The Curse of the Fuentes Women" are both on the hunt for new networks following their respective passes (Deadline.com).
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Peter MacNicol's Stavros Sifter won't return for the second season of "CSI: Cyber" (Deadline.com); Vanessa Williams will drop by "Royal Pains" as "a generous benefactor at the Hamptons Heritage Center for Rare and Orphan Diseases" (THR.com); and Malcolm-Jamal Warner has been tapped to play Al "A.C." Cowlings on FX's "American Crime Story" (Variety.com).
