NEW YORK, NY - May 15, 2015 - Today on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced an exciting new summer cooking series, "LIVE's Search for America's New Grill Star."

"LIVE" is looking for a cook who is an undiscovered grilling sensation. To apply, candidates must submit a 30-second video detailing why they have what it takes to be "America's New Grill Star," along with a recipe for their signature dish. Judging will be based on personality, creativity, passion for grilling and their recipe. From this pool of entries, nine semi-finalists will be selected. They'll travel to New York City to demonstrate their culinary talents on-air, one at a time, beginning May 29 and continuing through June and July. On August 14, two finalists will go head-to-head in front of a panel of judges and vie for the title of "America's New Grill Star."

"LIVE" has partnered with Bush's Beans for "LIVE's Search for America's New Grill Star." The grand prize winner will take home a check for $10,000 and showcase their grilling expertise in five webisodes that will premiere on the "LIVE" website and AOL.com. The runner up won't leave empty-handed - he or she will walk away with a $2,500 cash prize. And each semi-finalist will receive a Bush's Beans prize pack. Plus, several standout entries will be featured on AOL.com throughout the summer.
