AND IN OTHER NEWS... - ABC has postponed its new Sunday drama "Of Kings and Prophets" until midseason with the formerly Tuesday bound "Quantico" taking over its Sunday, 10:00/9:00c time period; the Alphabet likewise plans to recast Tomer Kapon's Joab (as well as potentially Alex McGregor's Merav) with its order reportedly now cut from 13 to 10 episodes (Deadline.com); "conversations continue" between Sony Pictures Television and Yahoo! for a seventh season of the former NBC series "Community" (Deadline.com); Michael Fresco has inked a blind pilot directing deal with ABC Studios (Deadline.com); Adam Rodriguez will recur on "Empire" as "a native New Yorker and former EMT who takes an interest in Cookie" (Deadline.com); Justin Prentice has booked an arc on "Awkward" as "a blue-blooded Princeton student and world traveler who meets Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) while visiting the country club" (Deadline.com);
Tom Lipinski has joined the cast of ABC's "Madoff" as "Bernie's (Richard Dreyfuss) older son, a trader with BLMIS who has a gift for people" (Deadline.com); Frances Fisher and Michael O'Keefe have been tapped to play Virginia Johnson's parents in two episodes of "Masters of Sex" (EW.com); Stanley Weber is bound for "Outlander" as Le Comte St. Germain, "a wine merchant and member of the French Court, who has a reputation for ruthlessness, as well as for dabbling in the occult" (EOnline.com); Michael Smith has joined "The Mysteries of Laura" as a co-executive producer/in-house director (Variety.com); and Brian Grazer told Adam Carolla on his daily podcast that production on a new season of "Arrested Development" will begin "after the first of the year" for a premiere "four months after that" on Netflix (AdamCarolla.com).

NBC Will Now Offer a Special Premiere of "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins" on Sunday, Jan. 18 Immediately Following Coverage of the NFL Playoff Game
The series will return on Monday, February 23 at 8 p.m. with an encore of the pilot and a new episode immediately following at 8:30 p.m. in its timeslot premiere.
