WHAT: Animal Planet's NORTH WOODS LAW returns with five new one-hour episodes highlighting the daily interactions between the Maine Warden Service, unpredictable wildlife, and those breaking the law during hunting season. The wardens are the last line of defense for the wild planet, warding off poachers, environmental threats and a myriad of other dangers.

WHY: In NORTH WOODS LAW, Animal Planet follows the true adventures of the elite Maine Warden Service, the nation's original guardians of the great outdoors. This season, the wardens investigate a slew of wildlife and criminal cases including illegal hunting, search warrant executions, illegal firearms and DUI arrests. But the wardens aren't on patrol just to catch the bad guys. When hikers or hunters vanish into the North Woods, the game wardens are responsible for locating and bringing them home safely.
