NEW SEASON OF "FLEA MARKET FLIP" STARRING "GOOD MORNING AMERICA" CO-HOST LARA SPENCER PREMIERES ON GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY JULY 5

Network Runs Three-Day Series Marathon to Set the Stage for New Season

New York [For Immediate Release - June 26, 2015] Great American Country will showcase a three-day marathon of Flea Market Flip, the Emmy-nominated series starring Good Morning America co-host and two-time The New York Times bestselling author, Lara Spencer. The Flea Market Flip marathon, which begins Friday, July 3, at 8 p.m. will set the stage for the series' fifth season premiere on Sunday, July 5, at 8 and 8:30 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes. The competition series, which just wrapped its highest-rated season yet, showcases duos who compete to repurpose flea market finds for a profit and a chance to win $5,000. Spencer, who is a designer and a longtime flea market enthusiast, continues to serves as the series host, creator and executive producer in the 14 new half-hour episodes.

The Flea Market Flip marathon airs on GAC as follows:

Friday, July 3, from 8 p.m. - 12 a.m. ET/PT

Saturday, July 4, from 1 p.m. - 12 a.m. ET/PT

Sunday, July 5, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes premiering at 8 and 8:30 p.m.

In Flea Market Flip, each team has only one-hour to shop and a $500 budget. They must scour a flea market to find their potential treasures. After searching, haggling and brainstorming on the fly, the teams transform the drab and sometimes weird finds into top-notch designs that they can sell the following day at a different flea market. The competitors must attract customers, negotiate and, at times, put on a show to sell their wares. The team who makes the most profit walks away with bragging rights and the cash prize.
