GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY HITS THE ROAD AGAIN WITH NEW ORIGINAL SERIES, "GOING RV"

Series Premieres Wednesday, July 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT

NEW YORK [For Immediate Release - June 29, 2015] Great American Country sets out on the open road once again with new episodes of returning original series, Going RV. The exhilarating series, which gained a fast following with its October 2014 preview, tracks families on their quest to find the perfect motor home for their highway adventures. Going RV returns to the network with 12 new half-hour episodes beginning Wednesday, July 8, at 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes.

"Nothing says road trips, relaxation and fun like summer, and Going RV is the perfect series to celebrate the season," said Allison Page, general manager of Great American Country and sister networks HGTV and DIY Network. "We're following along as families shop for their dream RV, and highlighting the features and amenities in these trailers that will have everybody jumping on board for a road trip of their own."

Whether trading in an existing motor home or shopping for a brand new RV with all the bells and whistles, viewers find out what happens when daring homeowners trade their walls for wheels. Going RV joins new and returning RV-themed series on Great American Country including Celebrity Motor Homes in which host, Blair Herter tours the poshest homes-on-wheels around, from luxury motor homes to superstar tour buses, as well as popular series, Flippin' RVs, which follows hosts Justin and Anna Scribner as they scour the countryside looking for vintage RVs and trailers that they can restore to their former glory.
