FOX SPORTS EXPANDS FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) COVERAGE WITH 30 HOURS OF ADDED PROGRAMMING

Added Programming Includes Expanded Pre- and Post-Game Shows, Two Women's World Cup Marathons and More

Vancouver, B.C. - FOX Sports expands its already unprecedented commitment to the FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) with 30 hours of programming added to its upcoming schedule, including expanded pre- and post-game coverage of the championship match, a pair of marathons showcasing the U.S. Women's National Team's dramatic run to the final and more.

Leading in to the USWNT's second consecutive Women's World Cup final appearance, FOX Sports presents an expanded pregame show with a special two-hour edition of FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TODAY. Coverage of the historic matchup between the U.S. and Japan now begins at 5:00 PM ET, Sunday, July 5 on local FOX stations.

Coverage continues after the match with a half-hour postgame show on FOX, followed by a one-hour edition of FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TONIGHT at 9:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1. FOX Sports' extensive wrap-up coverage includes live reactions from coaches and players on-site at BC Place in Vancouver, plus expert analysis from FOX Sports' FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) panel.

Fans can relive the team's dramatic journey through the FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) in a pair of FOX Sports 1 marathons, one prior to and one after the USWNT's championship showdown with Japan on Sunday. The first begins in the early morning hours on Friday, July 3, (3:00 AM ET) and runs through 5:00 PM ET, playing the USWNT's group stage, round of 16, quarterfinal and semifinal matches, plus the Japan vs. England semifinal in which Japan emerged victorious and earned the right to face the U.S. for the trophy. The second marathon begins at 3:00 AM ET early on Tuesday, July 7, running until 5:00 PM ET that evening, and showcases each of the USWNT's seven FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) matches, including a replay of Sunday's final.

Tonight, Thursday, July 2 (9:00 PM ET), FOX Sports 1 airs a special edition of PURE SPORTS, showcasing feature stories on five members of the USWNT. Hosted by Kate Abdo from FOX Sports' FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2015(TM) studio located in Vancouver's Jack Poole Plaza, the 30-minute show presents personal stories on Sydney Leroux, Carli Lloyd, Christie Rampone, Megan Rapinoe and Abby Wambach, which have previously aired during FOX Sports' coverage of the tournament.
