GAME SHAKERS (A.K.A. GAME MAKERS) (Nickelodeon; W: Dan Schneider; D: TBA) - Kel Mitchell, Cree Cicchino and Madisyn Shipman have all been cast in the upcoming comedy, about two 12-year-old girls who start a multi-million-dollar gaming company and take on rap superstar Double G as a business partner. Mitchell will play the aforementioned Double G with Cicchino and Shipman as the girls. (Variety.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "Forever" creator Matt Miller took to Twitter with the news Warner Bros. Television couldn't find a new home for the former ABC series (@mattmillerTV); Toks Olagundoye has joined the cast of "Castle" as Hayley Vargas, "a quick-witted, free-spirited, former Scotland Yard police officer who works as a security specialist and is not afraid to cross lines to get things done" (Deadline.com); Greg Camalier is spearheading a potential TV series based on his documentary "Muscle Shoals" (Deadline.com); John Dahl has signed on to direct the pilot for USA's "Paradise Pictures" (THR.com); and Cornelius Smith Jr.'s Marcus Walker has been named a new series regular on "Scandal" (TVLine.com).
