Hit series returns with a LIVE television event on Tuesday, September 8th

NEW YORK, NY - Buddy Valastro and his family return to TLC for a seventh season of CAKE BOSS bringing their business back to its true roots - cakes and family. Beginning with a live two-hour event on Tuesday, September 8th at 8/7c from Carlo's Bake Shop in Hoboken with Buddy, his family and other TLC favorites, the series will highlight the ups and downs of running a family bakery, but whatever the challenge, this family proves that no sticky situation can keep them apart!

As the success of Carlo's Bake Shop grows, Buddy must tackle new challenges, both in the shop and at home. After 50 years and thousands of customers, the Valastro family reminisces over the memories in the shop as they renovate the bakery, uncovering a message for Buddy from his late father. As one of the most successful and renowned cake artists in the United States, Buddy continues to achieve his late father's dream of making Carlo's Bake Shop a household name.

Throughout the season, Buddy and his cake team, including his four sisters, two brothers-in-law, cousins and the family matriarch, Momma, whip up some of the most delicious creations yet. With more responsibilities than ever, the Valastros feel the heat as they work side-by-side to satisfy customers, special guest stars and celebrities from around the world including a special cake for Academy Award winners Common and John Legend. Buddy and his team are tasked with creating some of the wildest cakes imaginable, including a "meat" covered cake that has the team visiting the butcher shop, and a naked cake that has Buddy questioning the controversial trend. From old-school birthday cakes for his son, to a commemorative cake for Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday, Buddy and the team have their hands full.
