First-Ever "We Said Whaaat?" Week Debuts September 8

NEW YORK, NY - September 2, 2015 - Top morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" is gearing up for a big September as it heads into its 28th season on September 8, 2015. Coming off of its strongest season in eight years, "LIVE" begins 2015-16 with a line-up of sought-after celebrities and a brand-new theme week.

As the new season begins, Emmy-winning hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan welcome some of entertainment's brightest stars, including Academy Award(R) winner ANNE HATHAWAY, actor RYAN REYNOLDS, Golden Globe winner RICHARD GERE, rocker STEVEN TYLER and Oscar(R)-nominated actress NAOMI WATTS. Also stopping by will be actors ROB LOWE, JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT and DYLAN O'BRIEN and NBA All-Star RUSSELL WESTBROOK. Plus, Ripa and Strahan sit down with top talent from TV's most-anticipated fall shows: "Empire" star TERRENCE HOWARD, "Scandal's" KERRY WASHINGTON, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star ANDY SAMBERG, "FABLife" hosts TYRA BANKS and CHRISSY TEIGEN, "Blood & Oil" star DON JOHNSON, "The Daily Show's" new host TREVOR NOAH, and "Nashville's" HAYDEN PANETTIERE.

Ripa and Strahan also will open the new season with their first-ever "We Said Whaaat?" Week. From September 8-11, Ripa and Strahan will be challenged to "put their money where their mouth is" as they take on experiences that they've talked about on the show. Ripa will learn how to raise chickens and tries a hot new health trend, Cryotherapy. Strahan finally attempts to overcome his fear of snakes and proves he can cook the ultimate breakfast.
