FYI'S "MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT: THE FIRST YEAR" RETURNS FOR A SECOND SEASON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 AT 9PM ET
NEW YORK, September 10, 2015 - FYI will premiere a second season of the hit spin-off docuseries, "Married at First Sight: The First Year." Seven one-hour episodes premiere Tuesday, October 13 at 9pm ET.
After exchanging vows in March 2014 on season one of "Married at First Sight," Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis, and Jason Carrion and Cortney Hendrix, fell in love and captured the hearts of those who watched their relationships unfold. Viewers have seen them conquer all of their "firsts," and will now follow their journeys as they approach their second year of marriage.
In season two of "Married at First Sight: The First Year," viewers will follow the two couples as they encounter new ups and downs in married life - from renovating a new home, to talk of babies, to reconnecting with a long lost relative. With new adventures on the horizon, the couples share their most personal struggles and joyous occasions. Jason's childhood friend, Neph Rodriguez, will also share his journey of navigating the dating world post-divorce. "Married at First Sight" trusted sociologist, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, will check in with the couples and offer advice and guidance post experiment.
