SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Tour Kicks Off in Grand Prairie, TX, on October 13

Tonight, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE came to a thrilling conclusion when Stage dancer Gaby Diaz was named the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Diaz, 19, from Miami, FL, received the most votes and danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and the chance to dance with Jennifer Lopez at her upcoming Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort. Diaz also will join the rest of the Top 10 for the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 12 Live Tour, which kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX. "Being named America's Favorite Dancer is a dream come true," said Diaz. "Knowing that so many people have appreciated my effort and enjoyed my work is the ultimate compliment, leaving me feeling very accomplished and proud of the work we all have done on this show."

Fellow finalists Hailee Payne, Virgil Gadson and Jana "Jaja" Vankova were eliminated as host Cat Deeley revealed the voting results.

In addition to naming America's Favorite Dancer, the Season 12 finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE featured a performance by Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Travis Wall, as well as performances by this season's Top 20 dancers - including a special performance by the Top 20 that was choreographed by Christopher Scott and a performance by the Top 10 with 10 All-Stars, choreographed by Nick Florez and RJ Durell. Also featured were special performances by American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Herman Cornejo, Hip-Hop Dance crew Academy of Villains and All-Star Cyrus Spencer performing with 10-year-old Hip-Hop dance prodigy Phoenix Lil'Mini.
