NEW YORK, NY, September 17, 2015 -- Today, WE tv is launching "Goo Ru Style," a short-form weekly video series hosted by Goo Goo Atkins, a celebrity stylist to a host of entertainment personalities including her sisters, Erica and Tina Campbell of WE tv's hit series Mary Mary, as well as Niecy Nash, Laila Ali and others. "Goo Ru Style" is comprised of eight videos filled with Goo's top tips on looking your best and dressing for your body type. The series lives on WEtv.com and WE tv's YouTube Channel with episodes rolling out weekly.

"Goo Goo has an amazing sense of style and self-awareness, and her ability to weave together positive messages for women of all sizes with fun and creative tips on looking your best is more than impressive," said Jen Robertson, WE tv's SVP, digital media and business development. "Goo Ru Style is an engaging and interactive way to provide our existing fans with more content and reach new users to expand our audience base."

"It's important to me that women, no matter what shape or size, understand they don't have to be a celebrity to look or feel amazing!," said Goo Goo Atkins. "I'm excited that WE tv has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge and sense of style with the everyday woman."

This season on "Goo Ru Style" Goo Goo will share her fashion philosophies on how to "work with what you've got" and knowing what looks best even when you don't have the "perfect" body or designer labels. The premiere eight episodes will focus on: What to Wear When, Style Haul, Finding Your Celebrity Style Match, Secret Style Weapons, Trends, Amping Your Look in 15 Minutes, Street Style, and Closet Essentials.

Goo Goo will close each episode with a personal message to her viewers and followers asking for comments, questions and video topics. Users can submit their feedback to her in the comments section on YouTube, on Twitter at @GooRuStyle_WEtv and on the Goo Ru Style Facebook page for a chance to see their idea featured in a future video.
