HBO has confirmed the debut date for the return of the comedy series GETTING ON, with the show set to kick off its six-episode third season SUNDAY, NOV. 8 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT).
From creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer (co-creators of the acclaimed HBO series "Big Love"), the critically-acclaimed show follows the daily lives of nurses and doctors as they struggle with the darkly comic realities of caring for the elderly in an overwhelmed healthcare system, skewering the petty bureaucracies of modern medical practice in America. Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein, Emmy(R) nominee Niecy Nash and Mel Rodriguez star.
