NBC PARTNERS WITH YOUTUBE STAR ZACH KING WITH ALL-NEW 360 VIDEO PROMOTING "HEROES REBORN" PREMIERE ON SEPTEMBER 24th
WHO: YouTube star Zach King proves that ordinary people can have extraordinary abilities with the debut of an innovative 360 video tied to the premiere of Heroes Reborn on NBC September 24th. This project was born out of an effort between Google and NBC to use 360 video technology and creative visual effects to deliver an immersive Heroes experience to digital audiences.
WHAT: Zach King - along with fellow creators Sam Wickert of SoKrispyMedia and Aaron Benitez of VFX Bro - conceived and produced this video featuring each YouTuber one-upping each other on their own hero-worthy abilities.
WHERE: Experience the video in 360 today in the YouTube app on an Android or iOS device, where you can pan by simply moving your phone. You can also watch via a Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera browser, and then tapping and dragging to look around.
This effort comes on the heels of NBC's successful 360 video initiative tied to Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary Special with Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David.
ABOUT "HEROES REBORN"
From creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC's original critically-acclaimed 2006 "Heroes" series, comes "Heroes Reborn," an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. The "Heroes Reborn" two-hour premiere will debut on September 24 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
