TBS Lights Up October with "Neighborhood Sessions Featuring Toby Keith," Newest Special from Series Created by State Farm(R)

Music Star's Intimate Hometown Performance to Premiere as Part of Neighborhood Sessions Documentary Special on TBS

Music superstar Toby Keith is heading to TBS this fall as part of Neighborhood Sessions, an ongoing series of music specials created by State Farm. The televised event will include an intimate performance that Keith gave to remarkable neighbors in his hometown area of Moore, Okla. in September. It will pair footage of the chart-topping star's rollicking local performance with powerful stories of perseverance and community from the neighbors who continue to impact his life and career. Neighborhood Sessions featuring Toby Keith marks the second special in the Neighborhood Sessions series, which gives the biggest names in music a chance to thank the neighbor s who inspired them, and who continue to inspire greatness in their communities every day. The special is slated to premiere on TBS on Friday, Oct. 16, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), in the midst of the network's Major League Baseball postseason coverage.

TBS's presentation of Neighborhood Sessions featuring Toby Keith highlights several of the award-winning singer-songwriter's biggest hits, including material from his upcoming album, 35 mph Town. The neighbors featured in the special are just a few of the extraordinary individuals who lift up this Oklahoma community and affect the lives of each person they reach in positive ways, proving that Good Neighbors Inspire Greatness(R). Neighborhood Sessions featuring Toby Keith comes to TBS from State Farm with the help of Translation, and is produced by Radical Media.

Toby Keith, a recent inductee into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, ranks among the biggest hit makers of his era. From his first #1 smash, "Should've Been A Cowboy" to "How Do You Like Me Now?!," "Courtesy of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American)" and "I Love This Bar," his monumental success has produced 26 #1 singles as a songwriter and 32 #1 singles as an artist in 22 years. Keith's albums have sold more than 40 million copies, and his tours have drawn more than one million fans each year for the last 14 years. He is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year and has been honored with the Nashville Songwriters Association International's Songwriter/Artist of the Decade distinction as well as the National Music Publishers Association's Songwriter Icon Award. He has also earned four American Music Awards and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards, among countless other accolades. In 2009, Billboard named Keith Country Artist and Songwriter of the Decade.

Keith's most rewarding experiences come from giving back. Whether he's helping sick children and their families in his native Oklahoma through the Toby Keith Foundation and their cost-free home, OK Kids Korral, or supporting American troops including 11 USO Tours throughout the world, Keith has never lost touch with the most important things in life.

Launched by State Farm with the assistance of NYC-based advertising agency Translation, Neighborhood Sessions is a series that give artists the opportunity to express their gratitude and give back to the communities that made them great. Each Neighborhood Session is designed to be as distinctive as the community it represents, leveraging local State Farm agents to identify and support vital local causes. The Toby Keith session will benefit the Toby Keith Foundation's OK Kids Korral pediatric cancer facility, soup kitchen and shelter program Food and Shelter Inc. and local volunteer organization Serve Moore.

Neighborhood Sessions featuring Toby Keith Created by State Farm marks the second session in the series. In February, TNT debuted Neighborhood Sessions featuring Jennifer Lopez in her hometown of the Bronx.
