NEW FACES TO APPEAR IN SEASON 2 OF "MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER"

Wynn Everett, Lotte Verbeek, Currie Graham and Reggie Austin join series!

Today at New York Comic Con, Marvel Television announced several new members to the cast of Marvel's Agent Carter including Wynn Everett, Lotte Verbeek, Currie Graham and Reggie Austin!

Wynn Everett ("The Newsroom," "Charlie Wilson's War") will play Whitney Frost, a Hollywood actress and brilliant inventor. In the comics, Whitney Frost first appeared in TALES OF SUSPENSE #98 in 1968 before becoming Madame Masque a year later in IRON MAN (1968) #17.

"Whitney Frost is a character with a storied history in the Marvel comics, and we're excited to get the opportunity to introduce her to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe," said Executive Producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Chris Dingess. "Inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall, we knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent. Wynn is both, and we're thrilled to watch her bring this formidable character to life."

Lotte Verbeek ("The Fault in Our Stars," Outlander") joins the series as the free-spirited wife of Edwin Jarvis, Ana Jarvis, who immediately befriends Peggy and helps her to adjust to life in Los Angeles.

"For a character fans love as much as Jarvis, we had to find him a partner who would be equally beloved," said Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb. "Lotte brings ease, sincerity and warmth to the role that's just perfect."

"Pompeii" and "Hitchcock" actor Currie Graham brings his talents to the role of Calvin Chadwick, a high-powered businessman and husband of Hollywood actress Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett).

"We knew we needed an actor versatile enough to go head-to-head with both Hayley and Wynn, and Currie Graham is one of those actors who can truly do anything" said Butters, Fazekas and Dingess. "He brings a grounded, human quality to Calvin Chadwick, a complex character who lives at the center of Season 2's intrigue."

Additionally, Reggie Austin ("Life Unexpected," "Devious Maids") will star as Jason Wilkes, a quirky yet charismatic scientist who instantly charms Peggy.

"We were impressed by Reggie as soon as we met with him," said Loeb. "He has a unique ability to be handsome and charming while also being extremely accessible. We knew he could portray a character whom both audiences and Peggy would love."

"Marvel's Agent Carter" returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable secret agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home--and perhaps even a new love--she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

"Marvel's Agent Carter" stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson and Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa.

Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb are executive producers. "Marvel's Agent Carter" is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
