DR. PHIL MCGRAW, HOST OF TELEVISION'S #1 DAYTIME TALK SHOW 'DR. PHIL,' SIGNS MULTIYEAR DEAL THROUGH 2020

LOS ANGELES - October 20, 2015 - Dr. Phil McGraw, host and executive producer of the #1 rated daytime talk show DR. PHIL, has extended his deal with CBS Television Distribution through 2020, it was announced today by Armando Nuñez, President and CEO of CBS Global Distribution Group.

"Dr. Phil is the leading voice in daytime television and he's made his show an important platform to discuss issues our viewers are struggling with every day. He truly is one of a kind," Nuñez said. Currently in its 14th season, DR. PHIL is averaging 4.4 million viewers. DR. PHIL has been the highest-rated daytime talk show for the past four years. For the previous nine seasons, it ranked behind only the "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Over the years, the DR. PHIL show has received 27 Emmy nominations and won 5 PRISM Awards, for the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse and addiction, as well as the MADD Media Award. In addition, The Alliance for Women in Media, sponsors of the Gracie Award, named after Gracie Allen, has honored DR. PHIL four times.

McGraw is also an executive producer of CBS Television Distribution's Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show THE DOCTORS, which is currently in its eighth season, and a prolific author with eight #1 New York Times best sellers to his name.
