THE ROSES CHECK BACK IN TO POP'S PRIMETIME WITH THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE OF "SCHITT'S CREEK" ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, 2016 AT 8:00 PM, ET/PT

Pop's Original Primetime Scripted Comedy Series Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy and Chris Elliott Is Back with 13 New Episodes

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - Oct. 22, 2015 - Small town living continues for the Rose family in the season two premiere of SCHITT'S CREEK on Pop on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT. The half-hour scripted comedy series will return with two back-to-back new episodes on its season two premiere night.

SCHITT'S CREEK stars Emmy(R) Award-winning cast members Eugene Levy ("American Pie," "Best In Show," "SCTV"), Catherine O'Hara ("Home Alone," "Beetlejuice," "SCTV") and Chris Elliott ("How I Met Your Mother," "Late Night With David Letterman," "There's Something About Mary"), alongside rising stars Daniel Levy ("Admission," MTV's "The Hills After Show") Annie Murphy ("Rookie Blue") and Emily Hampshire ("12 Monkeys").

In the second season, after a failed attempt to sell the town, the once rich and powerful Rose family comes to the depressing realization that their stay in Schitt's Creek may be longer than they originally hoped. Father and former video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy) continues to look for ways to extricate his family from life in their sad little town, while his wife, former soap star Moira (Catherine O'Hara), searches for ways to grace the town with her sophistication and taste. As for their spoiled children, David (Daniel Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy), they must do the unthinkable - find jobs.

SCHITT'S CREEK is commissioned by CBC, produced by Not A Real Company Productions Inc. and created by Eugene Levy and Daniel Levy. The executive producers are Eugene Levy, Daniel Levy, Andrew Barnsley, Kevin White, Fred Levy and Ben Feigin. SCHITT'S CREEK is distributed internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
