ANIMAL PLANET'S "NORTH WOODS LAW" RETURNS THIS NOVEMBER FOR A FOURTH SEASON ARMED WITH 10 NEW EPISODES

- Elite Game Wardens Risk Life and Limbs to Protect Wildlife and Serve the People of Maine Beginning Sunday, November 15 -

WHAT: Animal Planet's NORTH WOODS LAW returns this month with 10 new one-hour episodes highlighting the daily interactions among the Maine Warden Service, unpredictable wildlife and people breaking the law throughout the year and during hunting season - some of the busiest and most perilous months in The Pine Tree State. Warding off poachers, environmental threats and a myriad of other dangers, the wardens are the last line of defense for the wild planet. It is the responsibility of the wardens to protect and conserve all wildlife, no matter how big, small or ferocious.

WHEN: Sunday, November 15, at 8/7c (New episodes air Sundays at 8/7c)

WHERE: Animal Planet (Check local listings for correct channel in your area)

WHY: In NORTH WOODS LAW, Animal Planet follows the true adventures of the elite Maine Warden Service, one of the nation's original guardians of the great outdoors. Saving lives and fighting crime across the most heavily wooded state in the Lower 48, encompassing 18-million acres of rugged wilderness, the game wardens' beat begins where the pavement ends. Whether they're rescuing animals in distress, tracking poachers or chasing fugitives, the wardens are never far from danger. But these wardens aren't on patrol just to catch the bad guys. When hikers or hunters vanish into the North Woods, the game wardens are responsible for locating and bringing them home safely.

In the season four premiere episode titled "And the Little Ones Too," Warden Jonathan Parker must rely on unconventional resources to solve the case of a beaver hit by a truck in a parking lot. Sergeant Tim Spahr explores possible criminal activity in the death of one of Maine's most endangered species. Later, Sergeant Spahr attempts to save an abandoned baby gray fox.

NORTH WOODS LAW is produced by Engel Entertainment for Animal Planet. Steven Engel is the executive producer and Andy Seestedt is the co-executive producer for Engel Entertainment. For Animal Planet, Lisa Lucas is the executive producer and Damond Gordon is the associate producer.
