"KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE" TO RE-AIR ON SHOWTIME(R) TOMORROW NIGHT AS PART OF THE NETWORK'S SPORTS LINE-UP
LOS ANGELES - November 30, 2015 - On the heels of his retirement announcement, SHOWTIME has scheduled a special re-airing of KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE tomorrow night at midnight after INSIDE THE NFL. The feature-length documentary will air as part of the network's Tuesday sports programming line-up which includes new episodes of 60 MINUTES SPORTS, A SEASON WITH NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL and INSIDE THE NFL. KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE includes intimate and exclusive footage in the aftermath of Bryant's shoulder injury which ended his 2014-2015 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Compelling and revelatory, KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE captures Bryant like viewers have never seen him before. Bryant, an 18-year veteran and 17-time NBA All-Star, has earned five NBA Championships during his time in the league. At a critical juncture in his career, viewers watch as Bryant attempts to cement his legacy, opening a window into the mind of an elite athlete still motivated to be the best, but also contemplating life after sports. The film was directed by Gotham Chopra and was executive produced by Kobe Bryant and Gotham Chopra in association with Mamba Media.
