On the Actors Studio stage, Carell reflects on his early days in the business, both as a student and teacher of The Second City, followed by his successful segue from the small screen to the silver screen. Carell also discusses his celebrated work in renowned films, such as "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Little Miss Sunshine," "Crazy Stupid Love," and his impeccable performance as John DuPont in "Foxcatcher," which garnered him Oscar, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe nominations this past year. Additionally, Carell look back at his unforgettable portrayal of Michael Scott in the comedy series, "The Office," which earned him a 2006 Golden Globe Award and multiple Emmy nominations. Specifically, Carell opens up to Lipton about his affinity for portraying "losers," a recurring theme throughout his career, as well as his overall appreciation for the opportunity to work in the rising entertainment industry.
