NEW YEAR, NEW BOO! DESTINATION AMERICA RINGS IN 2016 WITH FOUR SPOOKY SERIES; RESURRECTS CULT CLASSIC MOST HAUNTED

Season's greetings from all the ghosts, ghouls, and poltergeists at Destination America. It's a full-on frightening family reunion to ring in the New Year with the premiere of four fan-favorite series between December 28 and January 3.

If the reality of another year's passing chills you to the bone, Destination America has a slew of spooky series sure to put things in perspective. First, GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS returns with new episodes on Monday, December 28 at 9/8c, followed by the network debut of the cult classic MOST HAUNTED at 10/9c. Resurrected on American television screens for the first time in seven years with encore episodes, MOST HAUNTED follows host Yvette Fielding and her team of paranormal investigators as they explore ancient locations in search of tangible evidence that there's life after death.

After the excitement of New Year's Eve, stay in bed for our "New Fears Day" marathon of PARANORMAL SURVIVOR beginning at 11am and culminating in back-to-back episodes for the season 2 premiere on Friday, January 1 at 9/8c and 10/9c. Finally, Destination America presents the much-anticipated eighth season of A HAUNTING on Sunday, January 3 at 10/9c, returning with a fresh look and feel for the New Year.

Chelsea and Sabrina are both harassed by evil spirits before good ghosts come to their rescue. Then, Cam and David both have a unique relationship with the land and soon realize that ghosts share this affinity.

In 2002, the world premiere of MOST HAUNTED revolutionized the face of ghost stories on television. For the first time, crews followed a team of paranormal investigators as they locked themselves in a haunted location for 24 hours to search for tangible evidence of life after death. · Petty France Manor

A grandiose building, the Manor House was constructed in the late 18th century during a time of conflict that pitted England against Napoleon's French forces on land and sea. Today the building is a four star hotel, but it's also home to poltergeist activity. Cutlery has been known to fly across the room, the sounds of dragging can be heard coming from the upstairs, and many people have reported feeling the strong sensation of someone rushing towards them. What otherworldly guests await the Most Haunted team when they check into the Manor House?

When sinister shadows escalate to vicious scratches, they contact Wesley Fox, the paranormal investigator who hosted the ghost tour. Wesley and his psychic medium wife, Melissa, encounter a cagey and calculating demon dead-set on engineering Nolan's untimely demise. Nolan has no choice but undertake a life-threatening struggle to rid himself and his family of an undaunted evil.
