Recently Concluded Second Season Delivers Its Strongest Showing Yet on FXX, with Total Viewers up +2% On a Live+7 Basis

LOS ANGELES, April 12, 2016 - Man Seeking Woman has been renewed for a third season to air early next year on FXX, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. The comedy series created by Simon Rich and starring Jay Baruchel recently concluded its second season on FXX with its strongest showing yet as Total Viewers increased +2% (399,000 vs. 393,000) on average over the first season on a Live+7 basis. The 10-episode third season will debut on FXX in early 2017.

"Man Seeking Woman had another great season this year and continues to offer one of the smartest and funniest takes on dating and relationships on TV today," Grad said. "We are excited to move forward on a third season of Man Seeking Woman with Simon, Jonathan, Andrew, Ian and Lorne, and thank Jay, Eric and Britt for keeping the show so enjoyable."

Man Seeking Woman follows "Josh Greenberg" (Jay Baruchel) as he soldiers through the life-and-death stakes of dating. The series also stars Eric Andre (The Eric Andre Show) as "Mike," Josh's confident and daring best friend; and Britt Lower (Sisters) as "Liz," Josh's intimidating older sister.

Man Seeking Woman is based on Simon Rich's book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth. Rich created the scripted comedy and also serves as Executive Producer/Showrunner. Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer, Ian Maxtone-Graham and Lorne Michaels, and Broadway Video also serve as Executive Producers. Man Seeking Woman is produced by FX Productions.
