REALITY TV TAKES NEW FORM IN SEESO'S UPCOMING ORIGINAL SERIES

Workplace Comedy 'Thingstarter' to Debut May 19 and Travel Show Parody 'Hidden America with Jonah Ray' to Bow June 2

Seeso, the ad-free comedy streaming channel, will launch its next two scripted, comedies "Thingstarter" and '"Hidden American with Jonah Ray" May 19 and June 2, respectively.

"Thingstarter," a workplace comedy, is about a startup company that develops ridiculous yet plausible products and takes them into the real world to get feedback from real people and experts. Some of the products the show features include "iNotRacist," an app that awards points for doing "not racist" actions; "Terra Firma" a sleepy-time product for Paleo enthusiasts; and, "Revel" 'self-pleasure' wipes, among others. The six episode series will be available on Seeso May 19.

The Bourdain-esque travel show, "Hidden America with Jonah Ray," features Jonah Ray traveling to major US cities, including Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, and Austin, and some of the biggest names in comedy. The nine episode series will premiere June 2.

These two series expand Seeso's reality genre programming, including "Bajillion Dollar Propertie$," a semi-scripted comedy set against the backdrop of a luxury, cut-throat Los Angeles real estate firm.
