SON, THE (AMC/AMCS; W: Brian McGreevy, Lee Shipman & Philipp Meyer; D: TBA) - Jess Weixler ("The Good Wife") has scored a role on the upcoming drama, a multi-generational epic telling of the story of America's birth as a superpower through the bloody rise and fall of one Texas family. She'll play Sally, "Pete's (Henry Garrett) tough, no-nonsense wife. A caring mother who is fiercely protective of her kids, she is searching for fulfillment while trying to keep her marriage together." (Deadline.com)
