TRAVEL CHANNEL CHRONICLES THE BIGGEST AND MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS THAT TRAVELERS EXPERIENCE EVERY DAY AT AMERICA'S AIRPORTS IN "HELLO GOODBYE"

New Series Produced By Ellen DeGeneres Premieres On Monday, May 9 At 11:00 P.M. ET/PT

NEW YORK (April 26, 2016) - "Hello Goodbye" captures some of life's biggest and most fun moments as regular, everyday people arrive and depart from some of America's largest airports, including Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago O'Hare. Premiering with back-to-back episodes on Monday, May 9 at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, Travel Channel's new series, produced by Ellen DeGeneres' A Very Good Production in association with Telepictures and Shed Media, highlights surprising and exciting stories of marriage proposals, surprise greeters and big family reunions from travelers from all walks of life and cultures. In each of the six half-hour episodes, viewers join host Curt Menefee ("Fox NFL Sunday") as he strolls through terminals talking to travelers, and discovering the heartwarming and hilarious stories behind every arrival and departure. Each story reveals the most memorable moments that take place daily between families and loved ones in airports across the country.

"Ellen DeGeneres and her production team captured some of the most surprising and entertaining reunion stories at airports across the country," says Courtney White, senior vice president, programming, Travel Channel. " 'Hello Goodbye' gives us a fun, fresh look at touching down in a city."

"Talking with strangers in airports, you really learn a lot about the human spirit. So often it came back to the power of love," says Menefee. "Whether it was the family we met awaiting their relatives from Syria, or the man who was reuniting with his sister after 40 years without contact, or people seeing each other in person for the first time after meeting online (those were always interesting). The stories ran the gamut from the deeply personal, to the hilarious and humorous. Love is often what helps us all get through the day."

"Hello Goodbye" is based on the original format and hit international program, "Hello Goodbye," by BlazHoffski Productions BV.
