JUST LET GO - LENNY KRAVITZ LIVE
US TV Premiere: Friday, May 13th at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT)
Filmed in Paris, Prague, Lódz, Memphis, New Orleans and New York over the course of six months in 2014 and 2015, JUST LET GO is the story about relationships between Lenny Kravitz and his band and why, despite him being a solo artist, these musicians are so vitally important to him, both personally and professionally. Concert performances, captured raw, honest and live in Bercy Arena, Paris and the o2 Arena, Prague, showcase front-man extraordinaire Kravitz and the iconic and world-renowned virtuoso musicians who surround him. From the afro-sporting jazz drummer, Cindy Blackman Santana to David Bowie-collaborator bass player Gail Ann Dorsey, to long-standing friend, guitarist and musical director, Craig Ross, the film revels in the personalities and characters present in the band's stellar line up. Threading through the film in documentary footage, captured on locations steeped in American musical history and borne out in the live performances, is a narrative that explores what it means to be a part of Kravitz's band. On rooftops, in muscle cars, propped up in dive bars, and in pool halls, the band in their own words talk candidly about life on the road, sharing the stage, improvising, translating the music from the studio to the stage and Kravitz's quest for perfection.

IN A PERFECT WORLD
World Premiere: Wednesday, June 15th at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT)
"IN A PERFECT WORLD... " is a feature documentary that aims to explore all the requisite dynamics of what it is to be a man raised by a single mother. The inspiration for the film came from the director's own relationship with her son who has a largely absentee father. Over the course of several years, Daphne McWilliams began interviewing men about the relationships they had with their mothers and, to varying degrees, their absentee fathers. At the same time, she was raising her own son, Chase, as a single parent. She noticed that as Chase entered his teens, their relationship took a dramatic turn as he began coping with his most formative years and becoming an adult without the consistent presence of his own father. McWilliams realized it was time to turn the camera on her own family to document her son's painful abandonment issues while seeking to help him express and understand his feelings.
