TEEN CHOICE 2016 TM, the hottest LIVE event of the summer, returns Sunday, July 31 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on FOX. As in past seasons, fans will continue to control the power of the votes! The first of many new choices begins today when fans will have the ability to choose the iconic design of the TEEN CHOICE 2016 surfboard at TeenChoice.com. Additionally, new award categories and favorite categories from past TEEN CHOICE Awards can be selected.

The two-hour LIVE event will honor the year's iconic stars from the best films, most-loved TV shows, fiercest music and the top moments in fashion, digital and comedy with coveted TEEN CHOICE Surfboard awards.

For 18 years, the special has presented performances and appearances by some of pop culture's brightest stars. TEEN CHOICE 2015 was hosted by Chris "Ludacris" Bridges ("Furious 7"), Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez ("Jane the Virgin") and Josh Peck (GRANDFATHERED). Participants included Skyler Astin, Jake T. Austin, Ashley Benson, Ice Cube, Cat Deeley, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Derulo, Adam DeVine, Nina Dobrev, Lucy Hale, Fifth Harmony, Josh Hutcherson, Anna Kendrick, Ross Lynch, Lea Michele, Chlo� Grace Moretz, Bethany Mota, Michelle Rodriguez, Britney Spears, John Stamos, Ian Somerhalder, Bella Thorne, and Zendaya. The live special also featured performances by EMPIRE's Jussie Smollett and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray, 5 Seconds of Summer, Flo Rida and Robin Thicke, Little Mix and Rachel Platten.
