-- Al Yankovic, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Zosia Mamet, Nick Lachey, Patrick Stump and Carl Weathers among Upcoming Guest Stars --

The Annie Award-nominated series "Star vs. The Forces of Evil," starring Eden Sher (ABC's "The Middle") as the voice of Star Butterfly, the fiercely awesome teen princess from another dimension, begins its second season MONDAY, JULY 11 (10:30 a.m., EDT) on Disney XD and the Disney XD app.

Guest stars for season two include: Al Yankovic, Mayim Bialik ("Big Bang Theory"), Melissa Rauch ("Big Bang Theory"), Zosia Mamet ("Girls"), Nick Lachey (98 Degrees), Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Carl Weathers ("Rocky"), Constance Schulman ("Orange Is the New Black"), Eric Christian Olson ("NCIS: Los Angeles") and Yvette Nicole Brown ("The Odd Couple"). Reprising their roles are Jeffrey Tambor ("Transparent") and comedian Jim Gaffigan.

The second season uncovers the mythology around Star's Royal Magic Wand, her family history and the powers she will someday fully possess. Additionally, Star and Marco's adventures get even weirder as they are introduced to new magical characters.

"Star vs. The Forces of Evil: Quest Buy Rush!," a new game where players help Star defeat Ludo's henchmen, launches July 8 on the Disney XD app.

A series of eight original comics titled "Deep Trouble" will roll out monthly in comic book stores beginning September 2016.

"Star vs. The Forces of Evil: Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension," a hardcover book created by Nefcy and Disney Press, will be released in 2017.

Created and executive-produced by Daron Nefcy, "Star vs. The Forces of Evil" stars Eden Sher, Adam McArthur ("Star Wars: The Clone Wars") as Marco Diaz; Alan Tudyk (Broadway's "Spamalot") as Star's nemesis Ludo and her dad, King Butterfly; Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") as Star's adopted mom on Earth, Mrs. Diaz; Artt Butler ("Her") as Star's adopted dad on Earth, Mr. Diaz; Jenny Slate ("Parks and Recreation") as Pony Head and Dee Dee Rescher ("Ferris Bueller's Day Off") as Skullnick.

"Star vs. The Forces of Evil" is a production of Disney Television Animation and carries a TV-Y7 parental guideline.
