CORPORATE (Comedy Central) - The dark, satirical workplace comedy - "that follows two junior executives-in-training who are forced to do the dirty work of the higher-ups at one of the world's largest corporations, Hampton DeVille" - has reportedly been given a series commitment. (Deadline.com)
DEADBEAT (Hulu) - Co-star Tyler Labine took to Twitter with the news the series has been canceled. (@TyLabine)
FIRST WIVES CLUB, THE (TV Land) - Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty are the first to be cast in the featured-turned-TV series. Hannigan will play Maggie, "an English professor at a university in San Francisco. Once an aspiring poet, she is a bright but frustrated woman who is struggling to put excitement back into her flagging marriage. When her old college friend dies, she is galvanized to finally make changes, starting with leaving her husband and tackling life with a renewed sense of adventure." Hilty then is set as Kim, "once a very successful actress who has 'aged out' of Hollywood. Needy and vulnerable, she works hard at staying fit and gorgeous, still hoping for that breakout role, while doing cheesy commercials. Divorced, with an 8-year-old son, Kim is happy to reconnect with old friends." Karen Rosenfelt has also been confirmed as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)
I LOVE DICK (Amazon) - Griffin Dunne ("Manhattan") has booked a lead role on the pilot, about "married couple Chris (Kathryn Hahn), an independent filmmaker, and Sylvere (Dunne), an intellectual and cultural critic who lands in Marfa as an esteemed fellow with an important residency. When Chris expresses an interest in Dick (Kevin Bacon), the head of the institute, Sylvere's response is surprising, creative and incredibly modern." Roberta Colindrez also stars. (Deadline.com)
LIFE IN PIECES (CBS) - Hunter King's Clementine, last seen having eloped with Tyler (Niall Cunningham), will return as a series regular this fall. (Deadline.com)
MOZART IN THE JUNGLE (Amazon) - Monica Bellucci (Spectre) is bound for the new season as Alessandra, "an iconic opera star who will become Rodrigo's (Gael Garcia Bernal) next great collaborator. Alessandra is as famous for her passionate performances as she is for her erratic life off the stage. After years away from the spotlight, she enlists Rodrigo to conduct her grand return performance." (Deadline.com)
QUANTICO (ABC) - Russell Tovey ("Looking") has joined the cast of the series as Harry Doyle. "The character is described as a mischievous gadabout. Part Thomas Crown, part grown-up Artful Dodger, the mysterious Harry can be anything to anybody - and is just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when it's over." (THR.com)
