The Five-Week Series Kicks Off with THE MONKEES on Thurs., Aug. 11, at 9pET/6pPT

The Concerts Run Through Sept. 8 and Also Feature Live Performances by Village People, Bret Michaels, KC and The Sunshine Band, and Bad Company

LOS ANGELES, June 29, 2016 -- AXS TV heats up the summer with the ultimate rock n' roll experience as the network presents a new five-week series AXS TV CONCERTS HOSTED BY MARK CUBAN premiering with The Monkees on Thursday, August 11, at 9pE/8pC/6pP. The series will air every Thursday through September 8 and features live performances by five legendary bands curated by AXS TV founder Mark Cuban. Each live performance will be 90 minutes long, with a repeat at 11:30 pm ET.

Filmed live at the state-of-the-art The Bomb Factory venue in Dallas, TX, AXS TV CONCERTS HOSTED BY MARK CUBAN will shine the spotlight on some of the most beloved bands as they blaze through their biggest hits in an intimate setting. The upcoming roster kicks off with classic rock n' rollers The Monkees (August 11) and also features fan-favorite disco sextet Village People (August 18); high energy rocker Bret Michaels (August 25); iconic dance music "Shake Your Booty" and "Get Down Tonight" hit-makers KC and The Sunshine Band (September 1); and rock super group Bad Company (September 8).
