Back at Orleans Arena, Soul Train Awards 2016 to feature soulful performances, tributes and special appearances by some of entertainment's biggest stars

NEW YORK -- Today, BET Networks revealed its first talent confirmed for Soul Train Weekend 2016. Kicking off Thursday, November 3, 2016 and taking over Mandalay Bay, the celebration will feature soulful experiences including performances by Jill Scott, Tyrese, Monica, Anthony Hamilton, Jazmine Sullivan, Bell Biv DeVoe, Yuna, Tish Hyman, Kid Capri and a special night of comedy with the cast of BET's The Comedy Get Down with Cedric 'The Entertainer,' D.L. Hughley, George Lopez, Eddie Griffin and Charlie Murphy. Additional names and events to be announced soon!

The four-day weekend of events will include intimate performances, electrifying concerts, an outdoor day party and exclusive late night parties - all leading up to the 2016 Soul Train Awards on Sunday, November 6, 2016.
