When she finds herself confronted with a cake full of candles, Ellie wishes more than anything that she could be twenty-nine again... and gets her wish." The tale is told through three main characters: WASP bond trader Sherman McCoy, Jewish assistant district attorney Larry Kramer and British journalist Peter Fallow." Margaret Nagle ("Red Band Society") will pen the drama for Warner Bros. Television-based Chuck Lorre Productions and Amazon Studios with David Corn serving as a consultant. (THR.com)

MONSTERS OF GOD (TNT) - Brian Geraghty ("Chicago P.D.") has scored a role in the drama pilot as Major Ellroy McQueen, "the handsome, well-groomed and thoughtful new executive officer to Colonel Lancaster (Garret Dillahunt) - an appointment that doesn't sit well with the Colonel. Always careful to only say as much as he needs to, McQueen is well aware of Lancaster's ruthless tendencies, and must determine the best way to approach this new position." (THR.com)
REVERSIBLE ERROR (NBC, New!) - Barbara Curry (The Boy Next Door) has set up a potential drama at the Peacock about "a former high-powered attorney who is freed from prison after her conviction for murdering her husband is reversed. SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT (Netflix) - DeWanda Wise ("Shots Fired") has booked the female lead in Spike Lee's contemporary update of his groundbreaking film: Nola Darling, "a Brooklyn-based artist in her late 20s struggling to define herself and divide her time amongst her friends, her job and her three lovers: the cultured model Greer Childs; the protective investment banker Jamie Overstreet; and Da Original B-Boy Sneakerhead Mars Blackmon (Anthony Ramos), who still wears Jordans but now is a social-media phenomenon." Tracy Camilla Johns originated the role in the film. (Deadline.com)
WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER (Netflix) - Marisa Ryan and Mark Feuerstein have both signed onto the show's second season, billed as "Ten Years Later." She'll reprise her role of Abby while he's on board as "a new character, a friendly, hard-working guy and a core member of the group who has definitely always been there every step of the way. In the ten years since that infamous summer, he's now a powerful business man, successful and in love." (Deadline.com)
WHOLE NINE, THE (CBS, New!) - Chris Case, Derek Elliot and Jack Donaldson are developing a new multi-camera comedy at the Eye about "a pro football player who moves into a gated community and is surprised when his overbearing family shows up on his doorstep wanting to move in." Eric and Kim Tannenbaum of the CBS Television Studios-based Tannenbaum Co. will executive produce alongside Case, Campbell, Doug Banker of Five All in the Fifth Entertainment with Elliot and Donaldson as co-executive producers.
