ALTERED CARBON (Netflix) - Kristin Lehman ("The Killing") has been tapped for a role on the sci-fi drama as Miriam Bancroft, "the wife of the wealthy, over-500-year-old Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy) who is not just the striking beautiful trophy wife she appears to be. Miriam, having lived for 250 years, will do anything including playing to people's desires in order to survive another 1,000 years." (Deadline.com)
FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK (Syndication) - TV veteran Jon Kelley has been tapped to host the new syndicated game show from Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios. (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Elizabeth Perkins ("Weeds") has been cast as Janet Malone, "the mother of the Pearson matriarch played by Mandy Moore." (EW.com)
TREASURE (NBC, New!) - Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt ("Grimm") are set to re-team for a potential drama at the Peacock about "a group of grad students in Washington, DC who accidentally uncover a 40-year-old secret which leads them on a wild ride through real history as they attempt to unravel an unsolved murder, find hidden blood money, and avoid being killed by an assassin from the past." Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of the Universal Television-based Hazy Mills Productions will also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ANDREW GURLAND PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Andrew Gurland ("Married") has sold a new comedy to the Peacock about "a happily married man whose level-headed wife helps him manage some of the more complicated female relationships in his life."
