MONSTER IN MY FAMILY

Season Premiere January 3 at 10pm ET/PT

Monster in My Family delves into the world of infamous killers through a unique perspective rarely ever heard, as the family members of the killers come out of the shadows to reach out to the families of the victims. Each episode follows a different family's journey, facilitated by Melissa Moore, the daughter of Keith Hunter Jesperson, infamously known as the "Happy Face Killer," as they connect with the families of the killer's victims to express their sorrow and empathy. Four hour-long episodes begin airing January 3, 2017.

"Drew Peterson" Premieres January 3 at 10pm ET/PT

In an exclusive interview, Drew Peterson's eldest son shares for the first time his memories of being raised by the man who he once admired above all others, his father. When Drew was arrested for the murder of his third wife and became a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth in 1999, son Stephen raised his 4 half siblings from 2 of his father's former wives, believing his father was innocent and would soon be released. In the years that followed, Stephen had to come to terms with the fact that the man he idolized was a vicious killer. In a final step towards healing, Stephen reaches out to his former step-mother's sister, to offer his condolences for his father's heinous actions.

"Richard Ramirez" Premieres January 10 at 10pm ET/PT

In the course of one year, 1984 - 1985, Richard Ramirez conducted a reign of terror over Los Angeles, killing 13 innocent people. His highly publicized home invasion crime spree led to the media dubbing him the "Night Stalker." In this episode, ex sister-in-law Sandy, and niece Shelly, come to terms with the evil that existed in their family and meet Bill Cairns, who survived one of Richard's attacks, but has never fully recovered.

"The Orlando Shooter" Premieres January 17 at 10pm ET/PT

On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen walked into Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida and massacred 49 people while wounding an additional 53, in the deadliest attack in American history. Despite pledging himself to the Islamic State, a life-long struggle with his own internal demons and sexual identity may have been the root cause of his murderous rage. Nobody was more familiar with those demons than his first wife, Sitora Yusufiy. In this emotional episode, shot only a few weeks after the massacre, Sitora meets Aryam Guerro, whose brother was killed by Mateen.
