OWN'S DAYTIME EMMY AWARD-WINNING SERIES "HOME MADE SIMPLE" PREMIERES NEW SEASON BEGINNING SATURDAY, JANUARY 14

Interior Designer Jeremiah Brent Returns to Host Season Six of the Popular DIY Show

Celebrity Chefs Cristina Ferrare, Ben Ford, Carla Hall, Martita Jara, Manouschka Guerrier, Justine Kelly, Stuart O'Keeffe, Daryl Shular and Sharone Hakman to Make Guest Appearances

Los Angeles, CA - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Procter & Gamble announced today that season six of the Daytime Emmy award-winning DIY series "Home Made Simple" will premiere Saturday, January 14, 2017 on OWN at 9am ET/PT. Designer Jeremiah Brent returns as host this season, with 20 original episodes on tap. The series' DIY projects and stylish principles for home makeovers are featured on www.homemadesimple.com.

Creating homes that deserving families love to live in is at the core of "Home Made Simple." The show pairs inspiring families, a team of professional designers, and often carpenters and special guest artists, who work together with the selected families to devise simple solutions to everyday home challenges. From a couple in desperate need of an office space from which to run their self-funded animal rescue foundation, to an empty nester whose indoor space can no longer accommodate the at-risk youth from her community that she mentors, or helping a family with a new kitchen so they can continue to provide weekly meals for homeless families, "Home Made Simple" puts its team to work, while revealing the compelling and inspiring stories of the families behind the makeovers. Celebrity chefs Cristina Ferrare, Ben Ford, Carla Hall, Martita Jara, Manouschka Guerrier, Justine Kelly, Stuart O'Keeffe, Daryl Shular and Sharone Hakman will be dropping by throughout the season to share cooking lessons and personal recipes with families and viewers.

Jeremiah Brent returns to "Home Made Simple" as host for season six. A renowned interior designer, Brent is the owner of the interior design firm Jeremiah Brent Design and has transformed interiors for homes, hotels and nightclubs for high-profile brands and celebrities including celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Brent is married to fellow designer Nate Berkus, and together the couple will host a new show, "Married to Design," debuting on TLC this spring. When not designing, Brent enjoys spending time with his family, including daughter Poppy. The Brent-Berkuses reside in Los Angeles.
