About Nelly

Since stepping onto the music scene in 2000, diamond-selling, multi-Platinum, Grammy Award-winning rap superstar, entrepreneur, philanthropist and actor Nelly has continually raised the bar for the entertainment industry with his distinctive vocals and larger-than-life personality. In addition to his "Country Grammar" album and his mega-hit with Florida Georgia Line, "Cruise," both going Diamond this year, another season of the top-rated "Real Husbands of Hollywood" will air, as Nelly continues production on his show,"Nellyville." Next, Nelly will add sports commentator to his list of accomplishments, as he joins FOX Sports, making him one of a few actors with three shows on the air at the same time. In 2016, Nelly was honored with a unique opportunity to perform alongside the country's most prestigious orchestras, including St. Louis, Columbus and Pittsburgh. He has performed on "The Voice," "The American Music Awards" and "Greatest Hits," and has served as a judge on "The Next." Nelly's most famous hits include "Hot in Here," "Dilemma [feat. Kelly Rowland]," "Country Grammar," "Ride Wit Me," "Just a Dream," "The Fix" and "Millionaire," with Cash Cash and Digital Animal Farm. The music mogul has also left his mark in other aspects of the industry, including his hugely successful women's clothing line, Apple Bottoms, and he is part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. In addition to his impact on music and fashion, Nelly also made his on-screen debut in the remake of "The Longest Yard," starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. He later starred in "Reach Me." Currently, Nelly supports Make a Wish and is the only rapper/music artist to own his own college, EI University, which provides education surrounding the music industry.
