BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (FOX) - Nathan Fillion will drop by the veteran comedy as Mark Devereaux, "star of a Law & Order-y show titled Serve & Protect. When Jake (Andy Samberg) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) investigate a crime that occurred on the Serve & Protect set, Mark wants to assist the detectives by drawing on his decade of experience playing a detective." Also look for Greg Germann as "the executive producer of S&P, Gary Lurmax, who draws in Jake with the glitz of show business." (EW.com)
CHICAGO FIRE/PD/JUSTICE (NBC) - Esai Morales is the latest bound for the March 1 three-show crossover as Chief Lugo, "a 30-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department who grew up and flourished in the "old style" policing methods of the department. Now, he's doing his best as a chief to steer the CPD toward the new style of policing." (THR.com)
DISTEFANO (A.K.A. UNTITLED CHRIS DISTEFANO PROJECT) (CBS) - The Chris Distefano-led pilot - about "Izzy and Chris (Distefano), two 20-somethings raising their newborn daughter and merging their loud families: one Puerto Rican, one Italian" - has scored a pilot order. The multi-camera/hybrid comes from co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas via their Sony Pictures Television-based Bays-Thomas Productions. Distefano, Brian Bockrath and director Pamela Fryman will also executive produce. Fryman is also helming "9J 9K 9L" and "Real Life" at the network. (Deadline.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - The reboot's co-creator Sallie Patrick has signed a new two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
INSIDER, THE (Syndication) - CBS Television Distribution will wrap the entertainment newsmagazine after 13 seasons in September. The series currently ranks as "the lowest-rated among the established programs in the genre." Louis Aguirre and Debbie Matenopoulos are the hosts. (Deadline.com)
LIVING BIBLICALLY (A.K.A. THE YEAR OF LIVING BIBLICALLY) (CBS) - Patrick Walsh's comedy pilot - about "a modern-day man at a crossroads in his life who decides to live according to the Bible" - is heading to pilot at the Eye. Originally sold as single-camera, the now multi-camera project is based on A.J. Jacobs's bestselling book. Johnny Galecki, Spencer Medof and Andrew Haas also executive produce via their Warner Bros. Television-based lcide Bava Productions. (Deadline.com)
REDLINERS (NBC) - Kelly Sue DeConnick and Shaun Cassidy's small screen take on Charlaine Harris's "Small Kingdoms" - about "a pair of former operatives who get reactivated and drawn into a larger conspiracy while attempting to maintain their undercover lives" - has scored a pilot order. David Janollari also executive produces via his Universal Television-based David Janollari Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
SALVATION (CBS) - Jennifer Finnigan ("Tyrant") has been tapped to star in the summer drama as Grace Darrow: "Pentagon Press Secretary and single mom, and she deftly navigates the complicated waters of both jobs. Her world is turned upside down, however, when she learns of the deadly asteroid is heading toward Earth. Brought into the government's secret task force to save humanity, Grace struggles to keep the secret from the ones she loves and finds herself tested in ways she never imagined." (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED PAUL WILLIAM DAVIES PROJECT (ABC) - Shondaland mainstay Tom Verica is set to helm the drama pilot, which follows brand new lawyers in the Southern District of New York Federal Court working for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high profile and high stakes cases in the country, all as their personal lives intersect.
