For many, these theories are prophesized from stories originating hundreds of years ago; for others, they are fueled by real concerns about the world as we know it. Now, American Heroes Channel (AHC) explores the most noteworthy and notorious predictions of doom in the all-new series HOW THE WORLD ENDS, examining the widely-held beliefs of our imminent demise - from the technological, to the religious, to the ecological. The six-part series takes a closer look at the people, the science and the history surrounding each theory's impending countdown to destruction... and their feasibility of actually coming to fruition. HOW THE WORLD ENDS premieres worldwide on Sunday, February 12 at 10/9c, only on AHC.

Each hour-long episode of HOW THE WORLD ENDS explores the origin of one doomsday forecast and closely examines the impending timeline for destruction. Featuring interviews with passionate believers and expert naysayers alike, each theory is dissected and analyzed from the top down as viewers are encouraged to make their own unique conclusions about the prophecies.

The premiere episode of HOW THE WORLD ENDS titled Nostradamus digs into iconic prophet Nostradamus' cryptic theories that have predicted some of the most dramatic and tragic events in history with chilling accuracy: The French Revolution, World War II, Hiroshima and the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Many of his followers say that he was not sealing humanity to this fate, but rather warning against it. As some prepare for the end, others are determined to alter the course of history.

Nuclear Apocalypse premieres Sunday, February 19 at 10/9c

The Cold War might be long gone, but the nuclear threat has re-emerged. Meet nuclear preparedness enthusiasts as they dig their bunkers and stockpile supplies, determined to survive a threat that could become a global apocalypse. As global tensions reach new heights, this episode reveals the checkered history of the atomic accidents and missteps, and reality behind the fog of nuclear war.

Planet X premieres Sunday, February 26 at 10/9c

Some people believe that a giant hidden planet with a gravitational pull so strong that it would literally cause the earth to turn upside down is on course to destroy us. Fearing that Planet X is behind mass extinctions in the past, these theorists are now preparing for the next celestial Armageddon, pointing to the natural signs all around us as indicators of its proximity.

Biblical Armageddon premieres Sunday, March 5 at 10/9c

In suburban Oklahoma, a messianic group is preparing for the End of Days, taking a camping trip in preparation for what they believe to be an imminent and terrifying cataclysm. As the group prepares for Armageddon, others worry of the apocalyptic philosophy of violent groups such as ISIS. Pandemic Pandemonium premieres Sunday, March 12 at 10/9c

Aliens Invade premieres Sunday, March 19 at 10/9c

With the recent discovery of thousands of earth-like planets in the universe, the search for intelligent alien life continues. Some astronomers warn that when we find it, we should be prepared for an advanced hostile extra-terrestrial species capable of, and intent on, wiping out planet earth with superior weapons and technology. But others believe that an attack around has already started and an insidious take-over is underway.
