(New York, New York) April 6, 2017 - VH1, Ice Cube and his Cube Vision production company in conjunction with Jesse Collins Entertainment, Scott St. John and Jeff Kwatinetz's The Firm, today announced that "VH1 Hip Hop Squares" has been renewed for a second season. The series debuted to over 3.2 million viewers across premiere night plays, is the #1 non-sports cable show in its time period with P18-34 and ranked as VH1's highest rated new series in a year.

"VH1 Hip Hop Squares," hosted by DeRay Davis and executive produced by Ice Cube and his Cube Vision production company in conjunction with Jesse Collins Entertainment, Scott St. John and Jeff Kwatinetz's The Firm, features the biggest names in hip hop, comedy and entertainment as they come to play and stay to party, match wits and test their pop culture knowledge with the superstar squares. Based on the iconic "Hollywood Squares" produced by King World Productions, Inc. and distributed by CBS Television Distribution, "VH1 Hip Hop Squares" is developed in association with CBS Television Distribution. Dionne Harmon and Neal Konstantini serve as co-executive producers. The series is directed by Ivan Dudynsky. Nina L. Diaz, Paul Ricci, Candida Boyette-Clemons, Trevor Rose and Elena Diaz are executive producers for VH1.
