INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S "SIN CITY JUSTICE" OFFERS EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO LAS VEGAS PROSECUTORS

(Silver Spring, Md.) - In Las Vegas, a city where nearly everything is a gamble, the Clark County District Attorney's Office is as close to a sure thing as it gets. Led by District Attorney Steve Wolfson, this diverse and dedicated group of prosecutors rarely ever hears the words "Not Guilty" as they work tirelessly alongside law enforcement to pursue justice in their community. Investigation Discovery's (ID) SIN CITY JUSTICE - formerly known as LAS VEGAS LAW - grants viewers exclusive access to D.A. Wolfson's powerhouse team as they prepare and prosecute major criminal cases. Shot in cinéma vérité and featuring surveillance footage, police interrogation video, and photography never released before, the series immerses viewers in the high stakes, immensely dramatic environment that makes Vegas distinctive - and its crimes even more so. The six-episode first season of SIN CITY JUSTICE premieres Thursday, June 8 at 10/9c only on ID.

With more than 60,000 cases a year, including high-profile homicides, robberies, gang-related crimes and assaults on the Strip, these aren't stories pulled from a Hollywood script. They happen to real people just trying to live and let loose under the big lights of Sin City. The premiere episode "Rage Against the Machine," on Thursday, June 8 at 10/9c, captures the courtroom drama that centered around one of Sin City's hottest couples, adult film superstar Christy Mack and mixed martial artist Jon Koppenhaver, a.k.a. War Machine. Their relationship blew up social media. Their passion was more intense than the neon on Las Vegas Boulevard. But after they broke up, War Machine brutally attacked and sexually assaulted Mack. As the case came to trial amidst a media circus and national headlines, SIN CITY JUSTICE's cameras followed the prosecutors' battle to convince a jury that Mack truly was a victim despite her past as an adult-film star.

Other cases featured this season in SIN CITY JUSTICE are:

· "All for Eighty Dollars" premieres Thursday, June 15 at 10/9c

No parent should have to bury their child. In 2013, Ivan Arenas had to do just that when his beloved 15-year-old son Marcos was targeted, robbed, then run over by a car and killed as he fought to hold onto the iPad Ivan bought for him. His killers went on the run, selling the iPad for $80 along the way, but were finally apprehended. Now Chief Deputy District Attorneys Jacqueline Bluth and Agnes Lexis hope to keep co-defendants, Michael Solid and Jacob Dismont, behind bars for murder as Marcos's large extended family witnesses the twists and turns in this dramatic trial.

· "An Uncontrollable Rage" premieres Thursday, June 22 at 10/9c

It was overkill when Robin Jenkins was violently stabbed to death by her fiancé, David Frostick. Robin's family was devastated when they received the news, that turned to frustration as they waited seven years for justice. Meanwhile in another case, Nicholas Crystal and his girlfriend Nina Spiro use the ruse of her fake pregnancy to steal a man's car, with Crystal nearly beating the man to death. Days later, Crystal violently attacks a second victim before he and Spiro are apprehended. With twists and turns, the DA's office goes to trial on both cases.

· "Making a Statement" premieres Thursday, June 29 at 10/9c

After a woman is raped in a Vegas parking lot, she can't identify her attacker and the case goes cold until a DNA hit reveals him to be Calvin Smock. The woman bravely testifies, but prosecutors worry about a few inconsistencies in her story. Meanwhile in another case, two exotic dancers get into a violent fight over a client. Who will the jury believe: the victim who had a glass smashed across her face but who's also been arrested for domestic violence, or the attacker who's a famous porn star with prior criminal record?

· "Blood Brothers" premieres Thursday, July 6 at 10/9c

When John and Anita Sullivan are killed by a drunk driver and their bodies burned beyond recognition, their adult sons are destroyed. Their grief becomes anger when the driver, Matthew Dalrymple, flees while bail is being posted. Taking matters into their own hands, the brothers turn to social media to help track down Dalrymple. Now with Dalrymple in custody, will these brothers get their justice? Meanwhile in a difficult murder case that first resulted in a mistrial, two dedicated prosecutors must try the case a second time, seeking the Death Penalty, as brother turns against brother in court.

· "Betrayed" premieres Thursday, July 13 at 10/9c

Prosecutors call Easter Williams a "miracle" for surviving a gunshot to the head after catching her husband Gabrial Williams with another woman in their bedroom. Put on life support, she not only survives a risky surgery but regains her memory to point the finger at her husband and his lover, Maira Sepulveda. Now the question is: will this adulterous couple stick to their story that Easter shot herself, or will they turn on one another in a dramatic trial filled with twists and turns?
