LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Miles Gaston Villanueva ("The Young and the Restless") has been cast as Lyle Menendez in the inaugural installment of the franchise. (Deadline.com)
MAKING HISTORY (FOX) - Creator Julius Sharpe has signed a two-year overall deal at Sony Pictures Television following the short-lived run of his 20th Century Fox Television-based series. (Deadline.com)
STUDIO, THE (Showtime, New!) - Aeysha Carr has sold a potential comedy to the pay channel about "the day-to-day and night-to-night antics that happen in a music recording studio, the people who work in this very unorthodox office place and the conversations you have when your peak work hours are from midnight to 6 AM." Kevin Hart and Tip "T.I." Harris are among the executive producers of the Lionsgate Television-based project (and expected to make occasional guest appearances on the show) alongside Category 5 Entertainment's Brian Sher and 3 Arts Entertainment's Dave Becky.
