HBO PARTNERS WITH TRAP KARAOKE TO PROMOTE HBO COMEDY SERIES "INSECURE" AND "BALLERS," HOSTING THREE-CITY TOUR THIS SUMMER

In celebration of their hot summer comedies INSECURE and BALLERS, HBO has partnered with TRAP Karaoke, a user-generated entertainment company putting guests at the center of the show. Fans in Cincinnati, Charlotte and Houston will join cast members from both series for an advance double feature screening of the shows' season premieres and get on stage with TRAP Karaoke's host Low Key and DJ Austin Millz.

The HBO x TRAP Karaoke tour will stop in Cincinnati on July 6th (Bogart's), Charlotte on July 13th (The Fillmore), and wrap up in Houston on July 19th (White Oak Music Hall). Since its launch in 2015, TRAP Karaoke continues to sell out venues across the country to audiences looking for a hip-hop/R&B interactive experience. "TRAP Karaoke is the perfect partner to help HBO bring a taste of INSECURE and BALLERS to these three spectacular cities," says Laura Young, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Regional PR, HBO. "With every event, we're giving audiences an opportunity to celebrate HBO's incredible summer lineup with cast members and fans alike."

"TRAP Karaoke fans are going to love the opportunity to celebrate the new seasons of two of HBO's most relevant and iconic shows, especially with members from the casts," says Jason Mowatt, Founder, TRAP Karaoke. "I'm a huge fan of both series and I can't wait to bring the combo of HBO and TRAP to these cities."

Each event will also feature a locally-based speed artist who will paint artwork that will be donated to a local community organization along with a financial donation from HBO.

On July 23rd, BALLERS season three premieres at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT and INSECURE season two starts at 10:30 p.m. ET/ PT as part of HBO's new summer lineup, following GAME OF THRONES at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

BALLERS looks at the lives of former and current football players, following former superstar Spencer Strasmore (Dwayne Johnson), who has reinvented himself as a financial manager for current players in sun soaked Miami. Follow @BallersHBO across social media.
