Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart and China Anne McClain - the stars of "Descendants 2," the fantastical song and dance story about the teenage sons and daughters of Disney's most infamous villains - will make special appearances in a half-hour post-movie special, "Descendants 2: ABC After-Party," airing FRIDAY, JULY 21 (10:30 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

Part of the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, "Descendants 2" is the sequel to the #1 cable TV movie of 2015 that reached over 100 million viewers worldwide. It debuts FRIDAY, JULY 21 (8:00 p.m. EDT), in an unprecedented, simultaneous premiere on six networks: ABC, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Freeform, Lifetime, Lifetime Movies plus branded apps.

The exclusive ABC post-movie special, originating from 21 Royal at Disneyland Parks and Resorts, will take viewers along as the stars ride as grand marshals in Disneyland's parade down Main Street U.S.A., and meet young fans at the red carpet premiere event held earlier this week. They will be joined by the movie's director, choreographer and executive producer, Emmy Award-winning Kenny Ortega ("High School Musical") who talks about aiming to exceed fans' expectations, the cast's tour de force performance in the sequel - each young actor does his or her own singing, dancing and stunts - and the empowering themes in the movie's storyline. He also opens his director's vault for exclusive behind-the-scenes clips and outtakes for the ABC special.

Also starring in the movie are Mitchell Hope, Thomas Doherty, Dylan Playfair, Anna Cathcart, Brenna D'Amico, Melanie Paxson, Jedidiah Goodacre, Zachary Gibson, Keegan Connor Tracy and Dan Payne.

In addition to Kenny Ortega, the executive producer is Wendy Japhet ("Descendants," "An Education"). Screenwriters Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon ("The Starter Wife," "Runaway Bride"), who won a 2016 Writers Guild Award for "Descendants," wrote "Descendants 2" and also serve as the sequel's executive producers. Kara Saun ("Descendants," "Project Runway") is the costume designer. Mark Hofeling ("Descendants," "High School Musical") is the production designer. Tony Testa ("The Rocky Horror Picture Show") is the choreographer with Ortega. David Lawrence ("High School Musical," "Teen Beach Movie") is the composer.
