COOL KIDS (FOX, New!) - "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" staples Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton are set to re-team for a multi-camera comedy at the network about "three guy friends in a retirement community who are the top dogs until they're blown out of the water by the newest member of the community, a female rebel who's ready to challenge their place - it's high school with 70 somethings." Day and Paul Fruchbom co-wrote the half-hour, which has an off-cycle pilot order. Pine, Overbrook Entertainment's James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett will also executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
WELCOME TO MAINE (CBS, New!) - Austen Earl ("9JKL") has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Eye about "a ninth-generation Maine family and a recent immigrant - believed to be a Syrian refugee - and his daughter who all must learn to embrace change when they share the same workplace in a tiny rural town." Greg Garcia and Alix Jaffe will also executive produce via their CBS Television Studios-based Amigos de Garcia Productions. (Deadline.com)
