"MICHELLE WOLF: NICE LADY," THE RISING STAR'S FIRST STAND-UP SPECIAL, DEBUTS DEC. 2, EXCLUSIVELY ON HBO

Comedian and writer Michelle Wolf brings her sharp humor to HBO in her debut stand-up special, MICHELLE WOLF: NICE LADY, debuting SATURDAY, DEC. 2 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), on HBO. Taped in August at Skirball Center in New York City, the exclusive presentation showcases her signature voice as she takes on a wide range of topics, including her surprising thoughts on feminism, the environment and how nature is sexist, the mystery surrounding public bathrooms, why Hillary Clinton could not be a "nice lady," how it's easier to conceive a baby than to make a croissant and more of life's everyday absurdities.

The special will also be available on HBO On Demand, HBO NOW, HBO GO and affiliate portals; encore plays on the main HBO channel include Sunday, Dec. 3 (10:50 p.m.), immediately following the season finale of "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Wolf has gained critical praise as an on-air contributor and writer for "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," where she has tackled such personalities as Ivanka Trump, Megyn Kelly and Rachel Dolezal; her segment on Kellyanne Conway's "artful deceptions" garnered more than a million YouTube views. Prior to "The Daily Show," Wolf was a writing supervisor and performer for "Late Night with Seth Meyers," where she made her first late-night TV appearance as a comic in 2014.

Wolf created and starred in the digital series "Now Hiring" and "Used People." She also wrote for the 88th Academy Awards(R) telecast, hosted by Chris Rock, and has appeared on "Horace and Pete" and "@midnight."

She regularly headlines comedy clubs and colleges around the country, and has performed at a number of festivals, including the Riot LA Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Moontower, Bonnaroo and the Dublin Comedy Festival. Her stand-up show "Michelle Wolf: So Brave" enjoyed a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016.

Michelle Wolf was named to Vulture's list of "50 Comedians You Should Know in 2015," hailed as one of "The Top 10 Funniest Women in NYC" by TimeOut New York, included in Rolling Stone's list of the "25 Funniest People on Twitter Right Now" and selected as one of the "New Faces of Comedy" at the 2014 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

Director Neal Brennan is a stand-up comedian and writer who co-created the hit series "Chappelle's Show."

MICHELLE WOLF: NICE LADY is executive produced by Michelle Wolf, John Irwin, Daniel Bodansky and James Dixon; produced by Irwin Entertainment; directed by Neal Brennan; written by Michelle Wolf.
