SHAWN MENDES TO JOIN JAMES CORDEN ON "THE LATE LATE SHOW" FOR A WEEK-LONG RESIDENCY, JUNE 4-7

Shawn Mendes will join James Corden for a week-long residency on THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN Monday, June 4 - Thursday, June 7 (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. During the week, Mendes will perform new songs from his forthcoming album and join Corden for various THE LATE LATE SHOW segments throughout the week.

Shawn Mendes recently released the new tracks "In My Blood" and "Lost in Japan" from his highly anticipated third album. Both tracks have soared to the #1 and #2 spots on the overall iTunes chart in the U.S., amassing over 54 million global combined audio and video streams, and holding the #1 and #2 spots on Spotify's "New Music Friday" playlist. They are the first new songs released by Mendes since his 3x Platinum hit, "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," in April 2017. That track scored Mendes his second #1 single on Top 40 radio and on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, joining 7x Platinum single "Stitches." Throughout his career, Mendes has achieved two #1 album debuts, Handwritten (2015) and Illuminate (2016); two platinum albums; and seven consecutive platinum and multi-platinum singles. Worldwide, he has sold over 10 million albums and 100 million singles, and he has amassed over 11 billion song streams and four billion YouTube views. Mendes has completed two sold-out world tours with over one million tickets sold. In February 2018, ROI Influencer Media recognized Mendes as the #1 Most Influential Artist and #1 Most Influential Teen across all social media platforms.

Each weeknight, James Corden invites the audience to join in on the fun as the Emmy Award-winning THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN features a mix of celebrity guests, musical acts, games and sketches. The show regularly features viral segments such as "Carpool Karaoke," "Crosswalk the Musical," "Drop the Mic" and "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts." The show holds the YouTube record for the most-watched late night clip with "Adele Carpool Karaoke," which has 178 million views. THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN airs weeknights (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) on CBS. Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe are the executive producers.
