SUNDANCE NOW ANNOUNCES THE EXCLUSIVE U.S. PREMIERE OF AN ORIGINAL, THOUGHT-PROVOKING DOCUMENTARY COLLECTION: "TAKE 5: THE SHADOW OF ISIS"

New York, NY - April 12, 2018 - Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium streaming service, announced today the exclusive U.S. premiere on April 19 of five original documentaries, curated as part of "TAKE 5: The Shadow of ISIS." "TAKE 5: The Shadow of Isis" includes Recruiting For Jihad; Terror Studios; War Child; Europe's Border Crisis: The Long Road Home; and Girls, Guns & ISIS.

"Take 5: The Shadow of ISIS" marks the first time Sundance Now's "Take 5" collection has forayed into long form documentaries, allowing journalists, filmmakers, directors and producers to dive deeper into boundary-pushing issues. Previously, the franchise included thematically-linked short films, including "Take 5: A More Perfect Patriot" and "Take 5: Justice in America."

"'Take 5' has consistently resonated with Sundance Now's smart and discerning audience, and the films in the latest collection, 'The Shadow of ISIS,' are no exception," said Jan Diedrichsen, General Manager, Sundance TV and Sundance Now. "When shown together, the pieces provide a captivating and provocative story of terror abroad and the perplexity of modern life under siege."
